Tour's Schedule

Sept-12
Arrival to Oaxaca city, transfer to Hotel Aitana.In the afternoon we'll take you on a walking city tour highlighting the Santo Domingo Church, government palace, Alcala street, among other sites. We'll finísh giving you a special bufet dinner in Hotel Camino Real Oaxaca, including the show of Guelaguetza ,colorful dancers and music.

Sept-13
Breakfast, visit the impressive archaeological site of Monte Alban, where one of the most impressive pyramids in North America is located. This site is located on the outskirts of the city and the ancient Zapotec buildings and remains are imposing.Cuilapam de Guerrero, The Convent of Cuilápam is located in the municipality of Cuilápam de Guerrero, in the region of the Central Valleys of Oaxaca.It's building of the century XVI of impressive dimensions, but that never was concluded. Among its more characteristic architectural spaces an open chapel is found, type of religious construction characteristic of the first years after the conquest of Mexico, thought up for the purpose of congregating to a greater quantity of natives to which to convert to the Catholicism,Arrazola Xoxo, The alebrije name is often used in reference to the fanciful woodcarvings created by artists in Oaxaca, Mexico. These popular folk art wood sculptures are also known as animalitos, monos, or simply figuras.While most share the bright colors and fanciful subjects popularized by Linares work, individual artists generally have very distinctive carving and painting styles., San BARTOLO COYOTEPEC.This area has produced pottery for centuries. Pottery artifacts unearthed in many of Oaxaca's archaeological sites have been traced to the clay found only in this area. In more recent times, to the 1950s, the principal pottery product was the earthenware vessels used to transport mescal from hillside farms into the communities for sale to consumers

Breakfast, travel to the outskirts of Oaxaca to see the city of Tule, home to the longest living tree, a Montezuma Cypress over 2000 years old, markets of Teotitlan, famous for locally made and hand-dyed fabric and wool products, and Mitla, a neighboring ,we'll follow with the Hierve el Agua petrified falls , and mezcal factory visit with demonstration.
