From all the participants, we would like to thank you very much for all your efforts and work in arranging our first Yucatan Cultural Immersion experience. We received an unbelievable amount of positive, complementary feedback and literally no complaints. I am sure that word-of-mouth recommendations for your work, Alfonso, will be extensive. Everyone felt that you are extremely knowledgeable and communicated it well. The same comments were received about Raul and Jose. Everyone was very pleased with our guide staff, their courtesy, helpfulness, knowledge and communication skills. The whole trip went extremely well and all segments were well received.

The price was also considered to be very competitive and reasonable. I hope you were able to cover all your expenses and profit. We are sending out a written survey, but I have confidence that it will parrot what I have heard orally.

I just wanted to let you know how great our trip with Raul Garcia through the Yucatan was. It was a great two-week experience that was everything we had hoped it would be. We saw great sites and Raul was a terrific guide. He really knows the Maya architecture and he shared his knowledge with us with great enthusiasm.
It was a pleasure working with you and your staff beginning last April. The Ecoyuc staff knows its stuff and helped me plan our itinerary. Raul suggested a few slight changes to the itinerary as we were traveling, and every one of his suggestions improved our trip.

"[To those who] may be interested in going on an exciting and inexpensive archaeological tour of ancient Maya sites. Dr. Bruce Love (anthropologist in Palmdale, CA) is going to lead a tour of ancient Mayan sites in Tabasco and Chiapas, Mexico and Central America this coming February 2010, organized by Ecoturismo Yucatan based in Merida, Yucatan. This is the same terrific tour, I and my twin brother went on in February 2007 with 7 other adventurers.

This is by far the best tour of these magnificent ancient Maya sites at a very reasonable cost.

I called this trip my "Indiana Jones" tour because of the unique approach the tour owner/organizer, Alfonso Escobedo, used to give us the feeling of being archaeologists, discovering these wonderful sites for the first time. We had the best tour guides at each site to lead us through the ancient archaeological site and Dr. Bruce Love told us what we would see along the way and the cultural significance of what we saw.

This tour was truly the highlight of my adult life, . . . so far."
