Tour to the Hacienda Sotuta de Peón

We will take this trip on wooden platforms on rails called ¨trucks¨ pulled by mules (this name was given to these ingenious artifacts which were used to transport people, merchandise and most of all Henequén and it´s related products), just like the way it used to be done by our ancestors. Enjoy the voyage at the melodic compass of these trucks, on the ancient rails of Cauville, imported from France.

Tour Hours:

10:00 hrs. to 15:00 hrs.       *Pick up from Hotels at 9:00 Hrs (this can vary slightly)
13:00 hrs. to 17:00 hrs.       *Pick up from Hotels at 12:00 Hrs (this can vary slightly)
Days of Operation: From Tuesday to Saturday
Distance from Mérida to the Hacienda: 40 Minutes or 28 Kms.

Our Tour includes:

- Round transportation
- Welcome Drink
- Visit to the Main House
- Machine House (Days of operation: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays)
- Dryer Area
- Boomer Press
- Finished Goods Plant
- Mayan House
- Dzul-Ha Underground Cenote or sink hole (30 minutes to swim)
- Relaxing time in our swimming pool.

We have Towels, Life Savers and Masks Complimentary Service.

Does not include:

- Lunch
- Beverages

Tour Prices

Adults: $47.00 USD
Children from 3 to 12 years of age: $29.00 USD
Children under 3 years of age: Free of charge

We also have Restaurant Service (optional) with regional food.

* We don´t have credit card service.

* Optional: Regional food Lunch at a cost of $17.00 USD per person and includes:
- Appetizers (2 choices)
- Soup of the Day
- Main Course (3 choices)
- Desert
